Coffee of the week - #09-16

April 27, 2016

Welcome Nord! We have established a new relationship and want to welcome onboard Nord (click link to their homepage).

Having visited the roastery to cup this week´s coffee we met a group of passionate people. They have two cafes and one bistro in the Eastern part of Oslo, well worth a visit. Please let us know what you think and we will return with more information about them.

First out is the Rwanda Muyongwe, a washed bourbon.  The Muyongwe washing station is located in the Gakenke District of the Northern province in Rwanda. It was built in 2006 as part of the Tuzamure Kawa cooperative system. Ever since then, the washing station has been making a name for itself in Rwandese specialty coffee. Taste notes; A delicate and fresh coffee with floral notes of jasmin and citrus. Juicy mouthfeel with a long, sweet finish with hints of dried fruit.

Since more of you get 500g each time, we owe you to write about both coffees. The second one this week is Fanny Moreno from Honduras. Might be the second time we have had a coffee from this country, so we look very much forward to it! Scents of orange with large sweetness bringing back memories of plums and berries.
