Coffee of the Week - #02-16

Long time no see Jacu Coffee Roastery! We are delighted you ship you some fantastic coffee from the West Coast roaster. 

 

This week´s coffee comes from the Nyeri district in Kenya and the Mutheka Farmers Cooperative Society. Processing is done at the Muthuaini Factory wet mill, and the process is washed. After the washing process the coffee is left to dry for 12-20 on african raised beds. Coffees from the area i recognised by complex and flavour dense profiles. This particular coffee has tastes of raspberry and is balanced with a smooth mouthfeel. The acidity is fairly low from our point of view.

For the most thirsty ones of you out there we have shipped some washed caturra beans from Huila, Colombia, also roasted by Jacu. Another fresh and lingering coffee with hints if peach and chocolate.
